Description	:	On Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 9:21 pm, Virgie Marie weikle Wykle, 86, took her last breath surrounded by her loving family at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV., only to take her first breath in heaven in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Virgie was born January 14, 1925, in Monroe County, WV, to Edgar S. and Emma G. Honaker Weikle. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to all. All who met Virgie loved her because of her loving attitude toward others. She never had a harsh word to say about anyone... Read More	On Thursday, September 22, 2011, at 9:21 pm, Virgie Marie weikle Wykle, 86, took her last breath surrounded by her loving family at the Greenbrier Valley Medical Center in Ronceverte, WV., only to take her first breath in heaven in the arms of her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Virgie was born January 14, 1925, in Monroe County, WV, to Edgar S. and Emma G. Honaker Weikle. She was a loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister and friend to all. All who met Virgie loved her because of her loving attitude toward others. She never had a harsh word to say about anyone and forgave others who did. She believed her Savior when he said, Love as I have loved. She was a prayer warrior and devoted church member for over 60 years at the New Covenant Sanctuary Church of God from it's early beginnings in Ronceverte. She never missed church unless she had to. In her younger years, she walked to church with her two oldest children. She taught all her children and grandchildren that they should love the Lord and serve him as she did. Now, we her family and friends who are left, will celebrate the life of our dearly belove, for she is where she wanted to be, with her Savior. The world lost a wonderful woman, but heaven gained a beautiful Angel. other then her parents, she was preceded in death by her loving husband of 56 years, Basil Merrit Wykle, on September 19, 2005; and her only son, Basil Leon Wykle, on October 24, 2007; three brothers, Roy, Seibert, and Hobert Weikle; and five sisters, Inez Holliday, Lola Baker, Zelma Weikle, Leta Baker, and infant sister, Eva Weikle She is survived by three daughters, Althea and David Holliday of Fairlea, Bessie and Jim Workman of Lewisburg and Marietta and Roger Holliday of Ronceverte, one brother, the Rev. Calvin Weikle of Organ Cave. 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren; and more friends and loved ones than can be mentioned. Burial was in the Honaker Cemetery in Ronceverte.
