Read More	Virgil J. Coffman, 79, died at 2:14 p.m. Feb. 3, 2010, at St. Rita's Medical Center. He was born Sept. 1, 1930, in Lima to John and Emma Coffman, who preceded him in death. On March 6, 1949, he married Darlene Bok, who survives in Lima. Mr. Coffman was a member of Westside United Methodist Church. He was a member of the National Rifle Association and the Gold Wing Club. He loved his two dogs, Heidi and Katie, joking and being with his family. He retired as a supervisor from Lima Electric/Marathon Electric after 42 years. He was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean War, from Dec. 10, 1948, to March 23, 1950. His favorite pastime was eating at Casa Lu Al. Survivors also include two daughters, Cheryl (Robert) Maddy, of Wapakoneta, and Deb (Glenn) Corbett, of Pensacola, Fla.; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; and a sister, Helen Jackson, of Lima. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Robert and James Coffman. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Monday at Chamberlain-Huckeriede Funeral Home. The Rev. William Cronk will officiate.
