Description	:	FLOYD - Virgil Leroy Austin, age 69, died Monday in a Roanoke hospital. Surviving are his wife, Mrs. Ruth Whitenack Austin, Check; one daughter, Mrs. Mary A. Clark, Copper Hill; three brothers, Ercil Austin, Copper Hill; Basil Austin, Pilot; Cecil "Bill" Austin, Christiansburg; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Funeral will be Wednesday at 2:00 p.m. at Stonewall Church with the Rev. Elbert Lee Naff officiating. Internment in Wilson Cemetery.
