Ann was a member of Zion Assembly Church of God. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to those who knew her. Her enjoyment was keeping her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was always the life of the party and making people laugh was her specialty. She was committed to meeting the needs of others and was less concerned with her own. All who knew her will miss her for the joy she brought into the world. She is survived by her daughters, Laura (Jeff) Byrd of Hartsville, SC, Amber (Brandon) Hooper of Hartsville, SC; brothers, Henry Johnson of Heath Springs, SC, Lide Johnson of Hartsville, SC; sister, Alice Ammons of Cleveland, TN; nieces who were raised with her like sisters, Wanda Pierce, Sandy Matuse, Bobby Grantham; grandchildren, Chelsea Byrd, Farrah Byrd, Luke Byrd, Anna Rae Byrd, Sophie Byrd, Logan Hooper, Jayden Hooper; great-grandhcildren, Cam Wilkes, Colton Wilkes, Roxi Gainey. In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Phil Gainey; brothers, Foster Johnson, James Johnson, Johnny Johnson; sister, Ada Mae Wilson.
