Description	:	HARTS STORE, NC ~ Mrs. Virginia Frances Mills Hart of Hart Road died Monday, June 2, 2003, at her home. She was born in Patrick County, Va., to John Fountain "Bud" and Emma Jane Flippin Mills. She graduated from Radford College with a B.S. degree in education and taught school for 38 years in Stokes, Forsyth and Patrick counties. She was a member of Francisco Presbyterian Church, elder, choir member, member of the Presbyterian Women, the Lawsonville Extension Homemakers and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star No. 24. She is survived by two children, daughter, Jane... Read More	HARTS STORE, NC ~ Mrs. Virginia Frances Mills Hart of Hart Road died Monday, June 2, 2003, at her home. She was born in Patrick County, Va., to John Fountain "Bud" and Emma Jane Flippin Mills. She graduated from Radford College with a B.S. degree in education and taught school for 38 years in Stokes, Forsyth and Patrick counties. She was a member of Francisco Presbyterian Church, elder, choir member, member of the Presbyterian Women, the Lawsonville Extension Homemakers and a past Worthy Matron of the Order of Eastern Star No. 24. She is survived by two children, daughter, Jane and husband Jimmy Akers of Stuart, Va., and son, Bill and wife Diane Hart of Harts Store; two grandchildren, Curtis Akers of San Diego and Merrill Hopkins (John); and two great-grandsons, Aubrey Graham and Evan Wesley Hopkins of Woolwine, Va.; a sister, Mrs. Aubrey (Gladys) Owens of Mount Airy; and a brother, Graham Mills and wife Paddy of Murreysville, Pa. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Aubrey Hart; three sisters, Ruth Joyce Simmons of Stuart, Va., Annie Laura McMillion of Dobson and Gertrude Needham of Pilot Mountain; and a brother, Arthur Mills of Springfield, Ohio. The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2003, at Francisco Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Rickey Rogers officiating. Interment will follow at Francisco Presbyterian Church Cemetery. Mrs. Hart is at Cox-Needham Funeral Home and will be taken to the church at 5:30 this evening and will remain at the church until the hour of the service. The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 this evening, June 4, 2003, at Francisco Presbyterian Church. Memorials may be made to Francisco Presbyterian Church, c/o Betty Wright, 1040 Wright Farm Road, Westfield, NC 27053. Cox-Needham Funeral Home in Pilot Mountain is assisting the Hart family.
