Description	:	Virginia Raye (Decker) "Ginger" Kiltie, age 71, of Miles City passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City. Ginger was born in Ronan, Montana on August 14, 1942, the daughter of Henry Christopher and Flora Belle (Pierce) Decker. She grew up and attended schools in Ronan through the 8th grade. She attended her freshman year in Baker and then her sophomore through senior year at Miles City where she graduated from Custer County High School in 1960. Read More	Virginia Raye (Decker) "Ginger" Kiltie, age 71, of Miles City passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2013 at the Holy Rosary Extended Care in Miles City. Ginger was born in Ronan, Montana on August 14, 1942, the daughter of Henry Christopher and Flora Belle (Pierce) Decker. She grew up and attended schools in Ronan through the 8th grade. She attended her freshman year in Baker and then her sophomore through senior year at Miles City where she graduated from Custer County High School in 1960. She then enrolled in junior college for a time. Ginger married Alec Theodore "Ted" Kiltie on November 21, 1962 at the Presbyterian Church in Miles City. They remained in Miles City where they have made their home since. To this union, two children were born, Kirk and Sandra. Ginger worked many different jobs growing up from feeding chickens and gathering eggs to babysitting and waitressing during her school years. Following her marriage she worked in the laundry at the "Country Farms". She then went to work for Buttrey's Super Store in the plaza and worked there for 33 years holding various titles from clerk to department manager. Ginger enjoyed photography or snap-shot photos, "Ginger Snaps" as she called them. She loved gardening, bird watching, embroidering, stained glass and ceramics. Gingers greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family and watching her grandkids grow. Ginger is survived by her husband Ted Kiltie of Miles City, MT; a daughter, Sandra Lynn (Art) Peaslee Jr.; four grandchildren: Desta Lynn Fix, Khristofer Alex Crandall, Shane Alec (Jenny) Kiltie, Keith Hunter Losing, her great grandchildren Lillian, Connor (Desta) and Ryker, Kieran and Luther "Alec" (Shane); and a brother Calvin (Cindy) Decker and numerous nieces and nephews. Ginger is preceded in death by her parents and her Son: Kirk A Kiltie>, a son-in-law Keith Losing in 1994, and a nephew Rocky Decker. Family will receive friends on Monday, December 23, 2013 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Stevenson & Sons Funeral Home in Miles City. Burial will be held in the Custer County Cemetery.
