Description	:	Virginia Laura Abercrombie Babb, 82, of 210 Inn Circle, and wife of the late Marion W. Babb, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital. Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Paul Orion and Addie Mae Pitts Abercrombie. She was a former member of Beulah Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the church choir, the WMU and worked with the BYW. Read More	Virginia Laura Abercrombie Babb, 82, of 210 Inn Circle, and wife of the late Marion W. Babb, died Tuesday, January 19, 2010, at Hillcrest Memorial Hospital. Born in Ware Shoals, she was a daughter of the late Paul Orion and Addie Mae Pitts Abercrombie. She was a former member of Beulah Baptist Church, where she was a Sunday School teacher, a member of the church choir, the WMU and worked with the BYW. She, along with her husband, loved ministering to the local nursing homes. After declining health, she and her husband moved in with their daughter and joined First Baptist Church, Fountain Inn and she became a member of the Sara Patterson Sunday School Class. Surviving are a daughter, Virginia Ann Babb Kleister; two granddaughters, Linda Bajan and husband Ryan, and Teresa Reich and husband Brian; and her dog Jovie. She was the last living member of her immediate family. In addition to her husband and parents, she was predeceased by two brothers, Edwin and J.B. Abercrombie; a sister, Nora Woods; and a grandson, Brian G. Kleister. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Fountain Inn with Reverend Brian Mixson and Mr. Ryan Bajan officiating. Burial will follow in Beulah Baptist Church Cemetery officiated by Rev. Johnny Dyer. Visitation will be prior to the service on Thursday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, Fountain Inn, Mission Fund; 206 North Weston Street; Fountain Inn, SC 29644 or to Beulah Baptist Church Mission Fund; 1762 Greenpond Road; Fountain Inn, SC 29644.
