'Jim' Triplett on October 16, 1943 in Joplin, MO. He survives. They spent their honeymoon in Racine and lived there the remainder of their married lives. She was the mother of seven: Sue Sanders, Fairland, OK; Tim Triplett, Kim Triplett, and Kathy Sampson, all of Racine. Read More	Virginia Lee Triplett was born on March 4, 1926 and died on November 2, 1999, at her home in Racine, MO, after a short illness. She married James W. 'Jim' Triplett on October 16, 1943 in Joplin, MO. He survives. They spent their honeymoon in Racine and lived there the remainder of their married lives. She was the mother of seven: Sue Sanders, Fairland, OK; Tim Triplett, Kim Triplett, and Kathy Sampson, all of Racine. Surviving sons-in-law: Darrell Jones, Wyandotte, OK; Sam Sanders, Fairland, OK; Darrell Gruver and Kelly Sampson, both of Racine. She had 19 grandchildren; and a host of great-grandchildren. Also surviving are, one brother, Joe Walker, Wichita, KS; two half brothers, George Iseminger, Wichita and Walter Lee Walker, Joplin; and two half sisters, Carol Forest and Margaret Shepherd, both of Joplin. She was preceded in death by one son, James Lee Triplett; two daughters, Lolly Jones and Beth Gruver; one daughter-in-law, Jane Triplett; and three granddaughters, Susan Sanders, Julie Ann Jones and Charlotte Gruver. She was an active member of Racine Apostolic Church. She served as principal and taught Racine Christian School for 25 years. She worked as a sales clerk at various sale barns as well. She was a dedicated wife, mother and grandmother; as well as mother to the Racine Apostolic Church congregation. She was deeply loved and will be greatly missed. Rev. Richard Hancock and a host of other ministers will preside at services to be held at 3:00 p.m., November 3, at Racine Apostolic Church. A luncheon will be held at 1:00 p.m. in the church cafeteria.
