She was born Nov. 29, 1929, in Allen County to Laurence and Mildred Goosard Skelly, who preceded her in death. On Dec. 6, 1953, she married John Lepley, who died Dec. 25, 1988. Mrs. Lepley was a librarian for Lima City Schools and a homemaker. She was a 1947 graduate of South High School and a member of Westminster United Methodist Church, the Lima Business and Professional Women's Club and a life member of the PTA. Survivors include two sons, Rudy (Jill) Lepley and John Lepley, both of Lima; three daughters, Laura (Mickey) VanMeter, Joni Lepley and Patty Lepley, all of Lima; a brother Larry (Barbara) Skelly, of Lima; two sisters-in-law, Wilma Skelly, of Bellefontaine, and Mary Skelly, of Elida; and three grandchildren, Joshua (Kristy) Lepley, Nick Lepley and Travis (Kelly) Lepley. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Donald and Howard Skelly. Services will begin at 11 a.m. Friday at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes Lewis Eastside Chapel. Pastor Dave Burkhart will officiate. Burial will be in Salem Westminster Cemetery.
