Born May 10, 1921, in Wyaconda, Missouri, she was the daughter of Clarence Martin and Sadie Pearl Harvey Billings. On October 7, 1945, she married Stanley E. Richards in Fort Madison. Mrs. Richards worked in the offices of United Fire and Casualty, Collins Radio Co, the public library, and Frank Warden Roofing Co. Before retirement, she worked as a nurse's aide for Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a resident of Cedar Rapids since 1952.... Before retirement, she worked as a nurse's aide for Heritage Nursing and Rehab Center. She was a resident of Cedar Rapids since 1952. She was a member of First Christian Church in Cedar Rapids. Survivors include her husband of Belle Plaine; one sister, Nancy Billings Meyer of Decorah; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, one infant brother, one sister, and two brothers, one of whom was her twin. The body was cremated. A memorial service for Mrs. Richards will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Barr Memorial Chapel in Fort Madison, with the Rev. Chuck Holmgren officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery in Fort Madison. A memorial has been established.
