Description	:	Virginia Louise Soto, 90, of Wayland, died Wednesday, Aug. 23, 2017, at Parkview Home in Wayland. Born Aug, 23, 1927, in Lee County, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Agnes Dolly Pickard Christner. On Nov. 10, 1946, she married Dale E. Richenberger in Troy, Missouri. He died in 1975. She married Joe Soto on May 23, 1987. He also preceded her in death. Mrs. Soto worked at Yoder’s Hatchery in Wayland and was a nurses’ aide at Parkview Home, Mount Pleasant County Home and the McCreedy Home. She attended school in the Mount Pleasant school district. Born Aug, 23, 1927, in Lee County, she was the daughter of John Thomas and Agnes Dolly Pickard Christner. On Nov. 10, 1946, she married Dale E. Richenberger in Troy, Missouri. He died in 1975. She married Joe Soto on May 23, 1987. He also preceded her in death. Mrs. Soto worked at Yoder’s Hatchery in Wayland and was a nurses’ aide at Parkview Home, Mount Pleasant County Home and the McCreedy Home. She attended school in the Mount Pleasant school district. She was a 60-year member of Wayland Mennonite Church, where she was active in the Friendly Helper Sunday school class and the hobby club. She also was a member of the Merry 8′s Pinochle Club and the American Legion Auxiliary and was a 50-year member of the Order of the Eastern Star. She enjoyed puzzles, reading and playing pinochle. Besides her two husbands, she was preceded in death by her parents, one son, two sisters and two brothers.
