Virginia Louise Tower was born on Aug. 1, 1912, at Luverne, Minn. The family moved to a farm near Beaver Creek, Minn, where she grew up and received her education. She married James W. Keyman on July 9, 1931, in Howard. The couple lived in Valley Springs until moving to Sioux Falls in 1947. She worked at J.C. Penney, the Ace Motel and John Morrell and Company in the canning department. She retired in 1974 after 20 years... Read More	SIOUX FALLS Virginia Keyman Virginia Louise Keyman , 86, of 4004 E. 21st St., died Thursday, Feb. 25, 1999, at her home. Virginia Louise Tower was born on Aug. 1, 1912, at Luverne, Minn. The family moved to a farm near Beaver Creek, Minn, where she grew up and received her education. She married James W. Keyman on July 9, 1931, in Howard. The couple lived in Valley Springs until moving to Sioux Falls in 1947. She worked at J.C. Penney, the Ace Motel and John Morrell and Company in the canning department. She retired in 1974 after 20 years with John Morrell & Co. and later worked as a cook at Haffner's, retiring again in 1995. Her husband died on April 29, 1989. She had made her home with her granddaughter, Patti Fuller, since 1996. Survivors include her son, Mike of Brandon her daughter, Nancy Breen of Sioux Falls nine grandchildren nine great-grandchildren and two sisters: Vivienne Tatge of Luverne and NaRene Dunn of Ihlen. Funeral services begin at 1 p.m. on Monday at Wesley United Methodist Church with burial at Pleasant View Cemetery in Valley Springs. Visitation begins at 1 p.m. Sunday at George Boom Funeral Home, with the family present from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to Avera McKennan Hospice.
