Friday June 1, 1917 The Cedar Rapids Evening Gazette Marion News: Funeral of Child. The funeral services of the infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel S. Corey[sic] who died May 25 and was born March 30, were held at the home six miles southeast of Marion at 2:30 Sunday. A large number of friends and relatives gathered to express their sympathy and extend comfort to the bereaved family. The Rev. Mr. Hanscom of Marion, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Doner, conducted the services. Burial was in Oakshade[sic] cemetery.
