Virginia Wright Rosser, formerly of Federalsburg, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Northpointe Retirement Community, Arbor House "B" in Spokane, Wash. She was 90. She was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Federalsburg, the daughter of the late Robert E. Wright Sr. and Eunice Todd Wright. She was married to Everett E. Rosser, Aug. 9, 1940. Virginia Wright Rosser, formerly of Federalsburg, passed away Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at Northpointe Retirement Community, Arbor House "B" in Spokane, Wash. She was 90. She was born Nov. 27, 1919, in Federalsburg, the daughter of the late Robert E. Wright Sr. and Eunice Todd Wright. She was married to Everett E. Rosser, Aug. 9, 1940. He preceded her in death May 29, 2007. After her husband passed away, she went to live with her daughter, Eleanor, and son-in-law, Jerry, in Chattaroy, Wash. She worked for many years as a nutrition advisor, and doing home shopping for those who needed help with their households, and delivered items to area residents to enable them to remain in their homes. She enjoyed cooking wonderful family dinners, traveling to visit her daughters and their families, taking care of her flower gardens, and spending time with her family. She is survived by three daughters, Eleanor R. Wilson and her husband Jerry of Chattaroy, Wash., Penny Reeder and her husband Carl of Montgomery Village, and Amy Rosser and her husband Nat Gunod of Northfield, Conn.; seven grandchildren, Katrina, Alex, Zach, Casey, Molly, Seth and Anna; four great-grandchildren, Amanda, Olivia, Maya and Nicco; two brothers, H. Louis Wright of Seaford, Del. and Dale Wright of Federalsburg; three sisters-in-law, Catherine Wright of Preston, Virginia Wright of Seaford, Del. and Linda Rosser of Federalsburg; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Wolter, Ann Spalding and Phyllis Kennedy; and two brothers, Robert E. Jr. and Eugene. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 22, at Hill Crest Cemetery.
