Mrs. Brandenburg was born in Allendale, a daughter of the late Joseph Judson Allen and Anna Belle Stanton Allen. She was a graduate of Brenau College. Mrs. Brandenburg was a piano, voice, organ and choral director in St. Matthews, Cameron and Barnwell. Mrs. Brandenburg was a choir director and organist at St. Matthews Lutheran, St. Pauls United Methodist, Barnwell Methodist and St. Matthews Presbyterian churches. She was a member of the DAR, Colonial Dames, Daughters of 1812, Dames of the Magna Carta and the Orangeburg Music Club. Mrs. Brandenburg was a member of the St. Matthews Garden Club and the St. Matthews Duplicate Bridge Club. She was a member of St. Matthews Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Brandenburg was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, C.H. 'Jack' Brandenburg and a son, C.H. Brandenburg Jr. Survivors include daughters, Mrs. E.P. (Vivian) Turner of Greensboro, Ga. and Mrs. C.C. (Brenda) Lemon Jr. of Barnwell; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a sister; and a number of nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends at St. Matthews Presbyterian Church following the service.
