Read More	Vivian Josephine (Neu) Hulsing, age 96, of Carroll passed away on Tuesday, December 11, 2018 at her home in Carroll. Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 A.M. on Saturday, December 15, 2018 at St. John Paul II Parish – Holy Spirit Church in Carroll with Fr. Kevin Richter as Celebrant. An honor guard will be formed at the funeral Mass by the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Burial will be in Holy Angels Cemetery in Roselle. Friends may call at the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll after 4:00 P.M. on Friday where there will be a Rosary at 500 P.M. and a Christian Wake Service at 6:30 P.M. The casket will be moved to Holy Spirit Church at 9:30 A.M. on Saturday where visitation will resume until the time of Mass. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Dahn and Woodhouse Funeral Home in Carroll. Born on July 10, 1922 in Roselle, IA, Vivian was the daughter of Peter and Frances (Sporrer) Neu. She grew up in Roselle and was married to Norbert Hulsing on August 20, 1946. The couple made their home on a farm north of Carroll where they raised their six children. Vivian was employed by Pamida in Carroll for many years. She enjoyed playing euchre, dominos, sewing, cooking, baking, and spending time with her family. She was a member of St. John Paul II Parish – Holy Spirit Church in Carroll and the Catholic Daughters of the Americas. Vivian has made her home at Orchard View in Carroll for the past five years where she received excellent care and thoroughly enjoyed meeting with her friends at the puzzle table. Vivian is survived by two sons: James and Darrell and his wife, Meridy; two daughters: Patty and Sharon; a daughter-in-law, Janice; a son-in-law, Alan; eleven grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren; two sisters: Edna and Patsy and her husband, Darrell; four brothers: Earl and his wife, Jeanne, William and his wife, Jackie, LaVern, and Kenneth; a sister-in-law, Donna. Vivian was preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Frances Neu; her mother and father-in-law, Ben and Anna Hulsing; a brother, Jerome Neu; a brother-in-law, Paul Wuebker; a sister-in-law, Arlene Neu; her son, Robert Hulsing, in 1991; her daughter, Peggy Stovall, in 2011; and her husband, Norbert Hulsing, in 2010.
