She was born October 14, 1923, in Monroe County, IOWA, to Lawrence and Alphonsine “Peggy” Louis. On September 6, 1941, she married Robert “Bob” Kingery, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1998. She lived in Albia until moving to Ottumwa in 1955 and relocated to Cedar Rapids in 2011. She was born October 14, 1923, in Monroe County, IOWA, to Lawrence and Alphonsine “Peggy” Louis. On September 6, 1941, she married Robert “Bob” Kingery, and he preceded her in death on December 14, 1998. She lived in Albia until moving to Ottumwa in 1955 and relocated to Cedar Rapids in 2011. She maintained her membership in Church of the Brethren in Ottumwa. She is survived by two daughters, Janice Barrier and Cathy Kingery of Cedar Rapids; three sons, Richard (Diane) Kingery of Houston, Texas, James (Paulette Thomas) Kingery of Agency and Jeffery (Sheryl) Kingery of Cedar Rapids; eight grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, George Mansel Louis. Funeral services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Reece Funeral Home with her son, Rev. Jeff Kingery officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn Cemetery. Visitation begins at 2 p.m. Friday with the family present from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Friday. Memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
