She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Elbert Walton and Nannie Tomlinson Walton; son, Ronnie Jones; sisters, Maude Walton and Ova Smith; brothers, Rev. Royal Walton, Gail Walton, Charlie Walton and seven half brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband of sixty-one years, Howard Jones; son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Brenda Jones; grandchildren; Brandon (Nikki) Jones, Jeremy (Jodie) Jones, Lynn Cagle; great grandchildren, Jordan Jones, Levi Jones and Allie Jones; brothers Gay Walton and Chester (Rose) Walton; sister-in-law, Merrell Walton, Gladys Jones and several nieces and nephews. Pallbearers will be Brandon Jones, Jeremy Jones, Tommy Parrott, Melvin Brown, Larry Duck and Barry Duck. Funeral services will be held at 8:00 P.M. Thursday, March 22, 2012 in the chapel of Smith-Reagan Funeral Home with Rev. Wayne Loy and Rev. Mark Kitts officiating. Graveside services will be 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 23, 2012 at Grainger Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends 6:00 P.M. till 8:00 P.M. prior to services Thursday evening at the funeral home. Smith-Reagan Funeral Home of Rutledge in charge of arrangements.
