Description	:	Vivian R. Space, 81, of Minden died Saturday, Feb. 27, 2010, at Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney. Memorial services were held on Tuesday at Minden United Methodist Church with the Rev. Nancy Lambert officiating. She was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Kearney County to Albert and Lillie (Petersen) Rundquist. On Dec. 12, 1948, she married Dale Space. Nancy Lambert officiating. She was born Aug. 8, 1928, in Kearney County to Albert and Lillie (Petersen) Rundquist. On Dec. 12, 1948, she married Dale Space. Survivors include her husband; daughters, Beverly Logan and her husband, Mitch, of Gadsden, Ala., and Rose Bell and her husband, Rob, of Hillsboro, Ore.; grandchildren, Steve Carter and his wife, Tracy, and Kris Rock; great-grandchildren, Drew Carter, Taylor Veary and Kai Veary; stepgranddaughter, Amanda Wells and her husband, Hank; stepgreat-grandchildren, Christian, Dylan and Jachin Wells; and sisters, Marian Johnson of Minden and Marilyn Soderquist of Kearney. She grew up in the Minden area and graduated from Minden High School in 1947. She and Dale lived and farmed southeast of Minden. They moved into Minden in 1994. She was a member of the United Methodist Church in Minden and the United Methodist Women. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, embroidery and most of all playing bridge and Some-R-Set with her many friends and family. She was preceded in death by her brother, Durward Rundquist.
