She was a Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church and Daughters of America. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and going to church to praise the Lord. She also was a nanny to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her two husbands, Leonard Jordan and Hubert Charlie Tidwell; daughter, Lois Mae Jordan; grandsons, Mark Edward Tidwell and Morgan Wilson; parents, George Fleming and Hattie Shelton Stevens; brothers, George Montgomery and Bobby Stevens; sisters, Josephine Wilson and Marie Carroll. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, James Ronald and Betty Tidwell of LaFollette, Edward Verline Tidwell of Knoxville, Larry and Nona Tidwell of Jacksboro; daughters and sons-in-law, Leona and Carl Crisp, Charlene and Fred Jones, Carolyn Lowe and Shelia and David Smith, all of LaFollette; 18 grandchildren and several great and great great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on April 14 (Thursday) at the Fundamental Missionary Baptist Church with the Rev. Larry Russell and Rev. Delmus Bruce officiating. Interment will be in Bakers Forge Cemetery. Her body will lie in state from 1 p.m.to 2 p.m. before the services at the church. Martin Wilson Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
