Vonita Ann Joslin, age 62, of Amber, died Thursday morning, July 16 at her residence from Lou Gehrig's disease. Vonita Ann Joslin was born march 23, 1936 in rural Jones County. She was the daughter of Herman and Henrietta Dirks Harms. She attended the Black Oak School and school in Amber. On October 1, 1955 she was united in marriage with Robert Joslin at Wayne Zion Lutheran Church by Rev, Kehrn. Vonita worked as a secretary at the Amber Creamery from 1962 until 1984. She then worked at Wal-Mart in Anamosa from 1984 to 1997. She is survived by her husband, Robert of Amber; one son, Greg (Lana) Joslin of Hopkinton; one daughter, LaRae (Greg) Heyl of Amber; her mother, Henrietta Harms of Anamosa; one brother, Richard (Meg) Harms of Amber; one sister, Kathleen (Robert) Holmes of Monticello; four grandchildren and her mother-in-law, Lucille Joslin of Amber. She was preceded in death by her father, Herman, July 21, 1996
