Vonnya Jean Vincent was born on September 15, 1961 at DeSmet, SD to Roland (Red) and Jean (Steever) Vincent. She grew up in Erwin, SD and attended school there until the school closed. Later moving to Lake Preston. Over the years Vonnya worked at the Cottage Inn Motel, Hitchen Post, Raven Industries, Wheaties and finally DesCo until her illness. Read More	Vonnya Jean Vincent, 53 of DeSmet, SD died on Friday, April 24, 2015 at the Avera DeSmet Hospital in DeSmet, SD. Vonnya Jean Vincent was born on September 15, 1961 at DeSmet, SD to Roland (Red) and Jean (Steever) Vincent. She grew up in Erwin, SD and attended school there until the school closed. Later moving to Lake Preston. Over the years Vonnya worked at the Cottage Inn Motel, Hitchen Post, Raven Industries, Wheaties and finally DesCo until her illness. Having stopped working was the hardest thing she had to do. Vonnya loved to work, loved people and wasn't afraid to tell what she thought. She was loved by everyone. Grateful for sharing her life are her very special friend, who took excellent care of her when she got sick, Steve Siver, two sons, Dustin Olson and Cody (Rhonda) Siver all of DeSmet, SD Steve's children, Kyle and Keri Siver in Arizona,two very special grandchildren, Tristan Olson and Sullivyn Siver, brothers and sisters, Rod (Ruth) Vincent of Badger, SD, Jake Vincent of DeSmet, SD, Coleen Vincent of Park River, ND, Dianne Mulder (Troy Damm) of Badger, SD, Tonya (John) Kukowski of Jamestown, ND, Carson (Loretta) Aaneson, Laramie, WY, Chip (Lynn) Aaneson of Laramie, WY, Susan Dieckman of Sioux Falls, SD and Tim (Christie) Aaneson of Farnam, NE, three aunts, Donna Jensen, Joyce Vincent and Donna Frahm and a number of nieces, nephews and cousins. Vonnya is preceded in death by her parents, grandparents, brother, Mark Vincent, step-brother, Stuart Aaneson and many aunts and uncles. Funeral services for Vonnya will be at 10:30 am on Friday, May 1, 2015 at American Lutheran Church in DeSmet with Pastor Randy Koeller officiating, burial will be in the Erwin Cemetery at Erwin, SD. Visitation will be from 5-7 pm on Thursday, April 30, 2015 at American Lutheran Church in DeSmet.
