Description	:	Boone Co Democrat April 19 1882 Last Saturday morning B.A. Bremerman, a brakeman on the C. & N.W., was killed near Tama City. The manner of his death will always remain a mystery, but it is supposed he fell between the engine and first car, and the whole train passed over him, mangling the remains in a horrible manner. Read More	Boone Co Democrat April 19 1882 Last Saturday morning B.A. Bremerman, a brakeman on the C. & N.W., was killed near Tama City. The manner of his death will always remain a mystery, but it is supposed he fell between the engine and first car, and the whole train passed over him, mangling the remains in a horrible manner. Just before runing into the Tama station the conductor missed Bremerman, who was the head brakeman. He was known to have been at his post when the train left the last station, and inquiry of the engineer developed the fact that he had been on the engine, and started to go back over the train. As soon as this was known the train was stopped, and search made for him. The other employees had but a short distance to go before they found evidence of the sad death of the young man. The remains were found most horribly cup up, and it is thought eighteen or twenty cars passed over him. Bremerman was a young man of twenty five and had been in the employ of the company a little over a year. He was the son of J.W. Bremerman, a farmer in the eastern part of this county, and was known an honorable young man, well liked by his associates, and standing well with the company His sudden death is a sad commentary on the dangers of railroad life. The remains were brought to town Saturday evening, and the funeral took place Sunday
