Mr. Robinson was a native of Birmingham, Alabama and has lived in Lake City, Florida for the past sixteen years. He is the son of the late Bodie and Beulah Jordan Robinson. Read More	Published in Lake City Reporter on June 15, 2010 W. Randall Robinson, 83, a resident of Lake City, Florida passed away June 12, 2010 at the Suwannee Valley Care Center, Lake City, Florida. Mr. Robinson was a native of Birmingham, Alabama and has lived in Lake City, Florida for the past sixteen years. He is the son of the late Bodie and Beulah Jordan Robinson. He retired as a Lieutenant from the Florida Highway Patrol in 1969 after twenty-four years of service. He was also a safety officer for several corporations until he relocated to Lake City. Mr. Robinson was a member of the Florida Association of State Troopers and also a member of the Lake City Masonic Lodge #27. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed participating in family outings. Survivors include his loving wife of sixty-two years Elizabeth Lamb Robinson, Lake City, Fl. Two sons: Russell Robinson, Enterprise, Alabama and Sam (Judy) Robinson, Lake City, Florida. One sister: Barbara (Everett) Eddins, Pensacola, Fl. Five grandchildren Christopher Robinson, Jeremy Robinson, Alyson Yarema, Kyle Robinson and John Robinson. Five great grandchildren also survive. Funeral services for Mr. Robinson will be conducted Wednesday, June 16, 2010 at 10:00 P.M. in the chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with the Rev. Dr. Rodney Baker, officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Cemetery, Lake City, Florida. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Hopeful Baptist Church, 289 SE Hopeful Drive Lake City, Florida 32025. Guerry Funeral Home 2659 SW. Main Blvd. Lake City is in charge of all arrangements.
