Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 until 8 o'clock this (WEDNESDAY) evening at Shives Funeral Home. Born February 23, 1914, in Blaney, SC, he was a son of the late William and Elvie Brown Goff. He was a retired farmer and was self-employed in the nursery business. Mr. Goff was a member and Deacon of Harmony Baptist Church. Survivors include his wife of 65 years, Carrie Medlin Goff of Elgin; children, Juanita Hoglen of Columbia, Avery Goff and wife (Irene) and Betty Stockman and husband (Richard), both of Elgin and Lucille Smith of Cayce; grandchildren, Nancy Thompson, Melissa Chavis, Billy Wade Morris, Jill Riley, Donna Powell, Wayne Stockman, Michael Stockman, Whitney Stockman, Pamela Cook and Angela Wallace; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Jessica, Juliet, Heather, David and Tara. Mr. Goff was preceded in death by sons, James G.
