Description	:	ALBANY--Waldo M. Poston, 88, of 5921 Meadowbrook Road, Albany, died Saturday afternoon at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Dana Poston and Phoebe Martin Poston Sutton. Mr. Poston was a farmer and a retired Ohio University custodian. he served as an Athens County Grange Deputy for 22 years. He was a member of the Albany Grange 1611, where he served as master. Read More	ALBANY--Waldo M. Poston, 88, of 5921 Meadowbrook Road, Albany, died Saturday afternoon at O'Bleness Memorial Hospital in Athens. Born in Athens, he was the son of the late Dana Poston and Phoebe Martin Poston Sutton. Mr. Poston was a farmer and a retired Ohio University custodian. he served as an Athens County Grange Deputy for 22 years. He was a member of the Albany Grange 1611, where he served as master. He was a member of Athens County Pomona Grange, Ohio State Grange, National Grange and the Albany Community Senior Citizens. He was president of the Albany Community Fair Board for 24 years and helped re-organize the Albany Independent Fair in 1965. He is survived by four daughters, Mrs. Donald (Doris) Dorr of Athens, Dorothy Jean Anderson of Reynoldsburg, Mrs. David (Theresa) Turrill of Albany, and Mrs. Frank (Sandra) Tippie of Westerville; 14 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Clara Lucille Dent Poston who died Thursday; a step father, George Sutton; an infant sister, Helen; two grandchildren, and a great grandchild. Combined funeral services for Mr. Poston and his wife will be held Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Albany United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Paul Martin officiating.
