Description	:	Wallace "Wally"A.Bean 83, a former resident of Muscatine, passed away on Monday June 10, 2013 at the McCreedy Home in Washington D.C. Funeral services will be held at 10a.m. on Thursday June 13, 2013 at the Ralph J.Wittich Riley Freers Funeral Home. Rev.Jason Collier of the Ainsworth Community Church will officiate. Casket Bearers will be Dennis Bean, Brian Bean,Bradley Bean, Mike Bean, Jason Bean, and Jamie Howland. Burial will be in Oregon Township Cemetery, Ainsworth. Online condolences;www.wittichfuneralhome.com Wallace was born on March 24, 1930 in Ainsworth, the son of Norman F.and Frances M.Eden Bean. He attended Ainsworth Schools. He married Joyce Musselman in 1956 and they later divorced. He was a veteran of the US Army having served during the Korean War. He retied from Alcoa in 1992, after 36 years of employment. He belonged to the Alcoa Breakfast Group and the American Legion in Donahue. He was of Methodist faith. He liked working on Lawn mowers, fishing and traveling. Those left to honor his memory include one daughter, Julie Cunningham of Rock Island Il. three grandsons, Jason Bean, Ray Cunningham Jr.and Zachary Cunningham, one granddaughter, Summer Cunningham, three brothers, Danny Bean of Muscatine, Larry Bean and wife Kathy of Ainsworth, and Jerry Bean and wife Betty of Ainsworth and several mieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Paul Bean, three brothers, Roger, Stanley, and Bernard Bean, four sisters, Mary Kiesey, Geneva Gerling, Phyllis Haury, an Beverly Pershy and a special friend, Dorothy Long.
