Description	:	WALLACE C. "W.C." REVELL Wallace C. "W.C." Revell, 84, a retired vocational-agricultural teacher for public schools, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004. He taught vocational agriculture for 36 years at Lake Butler and Poplar Springs High School following graduation from the University of Florida in 1941. "W.C." Revell, 84, a retired vocational-agricultural teacher for public schools, died Wednesday, Feb. 11, 2004. He taught vocational agriculture for 36 years at Lake Butler and Poplar Springs High School following graduation from the University of Florida in 1941. He sponsored chapters of Future Farmers of America and won numerous state awards. Many of his former students were past state officers in his FFA Chapters. He served in World War II in Patton's Artillery, was a member of the American Legion, past president of Graceville Lions Club, a city commissioner for two terms, chapter member and past president of the Washington-Holmes Teacher's Credit Union, an ordained deacon of First Baptist Church, a Sunday School teacher for 25 years, and church treasurer of Bethel Baptist Church for many years. He was preceded in death by: his parents, Ezra and Nina Revell; two sisters, Lavonia Larkins and Lillie Bell Worthington; and four brothers, Clarence, Mansel, Thurman and Oz Revell. He is survived by: his wife, Irma Shuler Revell; two daughters, Sue Ezell and husband Henry Ezell, and Brenda Jones and husband Stuart, all of Graceville; four grandchildren, Jarrett Ezell of Dothan, Emilee Jones, Nikki Jones Dodd, and Angela Jones of Graceville, and Jodi Ezell Morgan of Lynn Haven; four great-grandchildren, Alexa Jones, Chloe Rogers, Shelby Singletary and Judson Morgan; three brothers, Forrest Revell of Wewahitchka, Melton Revell of Orlando, and Alvalyn Revell of Sneads; one sister, Mable Summers of Bristol; and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral will be held Saturday, Feb. 14, at 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church in Graceville with Dr. Bob Johnson and Dr. E.W. "Bud" Ware officiating. Pallbearers will be former FFA members. Honorary pallbearers will include his Sunday School class and deacons. Burial will be in the Marvin Chapel Cemetery in Graceville. The family will receive friends today, Friday, Feb. 13, from 6 until 8 p.m. at the Williams Funeral Home Chapel in Graceville. Flowers will be accepted.
