He was born Nov 27, 1925, on the family farm east of Lyndon, the son of Herman and Mary Hepner Miller.He had lived all of his life on the farm east of town. He was a farmer and stockman all of his life. he had also worked at the Sunflower Ammunition Plant near DeSoto during the war. Read More	Wallace H Miller, 80, Lyndon, died Tuesday, April 25, 2006, at home. He was born Nov 27, 1925, on the family farm east of Lyndon, the son of Herman and Mary Hepner Miller.He had lived all of his life on the farm east of town. He was a farmer and stockman all of his life. he had also worked at the Sunflower Ammunition Plant near DeSoto during the war. He was a member of the Vassar United Nethodist Church where he had been church treasurer and trustee and had sung in the choir. He had served on the water board for 13 years, the township board, the Vassar Cemetery Board, the Vassar Community Center Board and the Quenemo School Board. He was married to Patricia Ann King on May 2, 1947, in Vassar. She preceded him in death on Jan 27, 2006. He walso preceded in death by two sisters, Ruby Kaff and Fern Miller. Survivors include three daughters: Brenda Lindbloom and fiance, Jim Reynolds, St Mary's; Marikay Peterman and husband, Doug, Topeka; and Kristine Roney and husband, Daryl, Abilene; three sisters, Helen Kaff, California; Lucille Neilson, Lyndon; and Lorraine Gillan, Burlington; brothere-in-law, Phil King and wife, Novella, Pomona; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. Funeral services were Saturday, April 29, at the Vassar United Methodist Church. Interment was in Vassar Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association in memory of his wife Pat or to the Vassar United Methodist Church sent in care of Feltner Funeral Home, P O Box 160, Lyndon, Ks 66451.
