Description	:	Wallace W. Gorman, age 62, a longtime Kenmare businessman, died on Sunday, Aug. 26th in the Mohall hospital following several months of ill health. Funeral services are being held this forenoon, Wednesday, Aug. 29 at 11 a.m. in St. Agnes Catholic Church with Father Joseph Adkins officiating. Interment will be in St. Agnes Catholic Cemetery with Thompson-Larson Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Military Rites will be held at the graveside by the Heidenberg-Peterson American Legion Post No. 64 and the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 7049 both of Kenmare. During the funeral services Mrs. Maureen Munch will serve as organist and the St. Agnes Choir will sing. Pallbearers will be Reuben Jessen, Delmer Mickelson, James Schumacher, Holger Briggs, Edgar Miller, James Bodmer, E.L. Grenvik, and Calvin Jones. Mr. Gorman was born on Dec. 18, 1916 at Kenmare and was reared here. He served in WWII in the U.S. Army and following his tour of duty he returned to Kenmare. He purchased the Midget Bar in 1947 which he operated until retiring in 1974. He married Ruth Johnson on Oct. 13, 1940 at Plentywood, Mont. She passed away on Sept. 4, 1977. He married Patricia Mosburg on July 18, 1978, at Kenmare. He was a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church, the Kenmare Fire Department, Kenmare Lions Club, the American Legion and VFW Posts in Kenmare and the Kenmare Association of Commerce. He is survived by his wife, one son Jerry of Miami, Ariz.; a step-daughter, Leilani Mosburg of Kenmare; three brothers, Henry of Glendive, Mont., Jack of Stockton, Calif., and Orlin of Minneapolis, Mn.; two sisters, Mrs. Mary Lou Mahnke of Minneapolis, Mn., and Mrs. Kathryn Bower of Ventura, Calif., and two grandchildren.
