Description	:	Mrs. Walsie Ellis Adams, age 101, of Hays, died Monday, July 15, 2013 at Avante at Wilkesboro. Mrs. Adams was born August 12, 1911 in Wilkes County to Columbus and Mary Pruitt Ellis. She was a member of New Covenant Church. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Clifton Oliver Adams; and a son, Frank Odell Adams. Funeral service will be held 3:00 pm Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Miller Funeral Chapel with Pastor Brian Sampson officiating. Burial will follow in New Covenant Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Miller Funeral Service from 2:00 until 3:00 on Wednesday, prior to the service. Flowers will be accepted. Miller Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
