Description	:	Walter Brown Bobbitt, age 78, prominent Virginia Baptist layman, died in Radford Hospital Wednesday, June 7, 1961 as a result of a heart attack suffered Monday, June 5, 1961. He had been general manager of Radford Stone Corp and its predecessor, Radford Limestone Co since 1937. He first joined the concern in 1931. He was active in Baptist Church circles in the state and played a prominent part in raising funds for Virginia Baptist Hospital at Lynchburg, Virginia Baptist Orphanage at Salem and Virginia Baptist Home for the aged at Culpepper.
