Description	:	Walter Elias Everitt, son of Elias and Margaret Teegardin Everitt, was born March 12, 1865, in Otsego township, Steuben county, Indiana. He was of a family of seven children, six boys and one girl, three brothers, and the sister, together with the parents, have preceded him to the better land. Read More	Walter Elias Everitt, son of Elias and Margaret Teegardin Everitt, was born March 12, 1865, in Otsego township, Steuben county, Indiana. He was of a family of seven children, six boys and one girl, three brothers, and the sister, together with the parents, have preceded him to the better land. He grew to manhood on his father's farm and took up farming as his life's work. In the autumn of 1893, he was united in marriage to Miss Nellie Saunders. In eight short weeks she was called to her home beyond. On July 31, 1897, he was united in marriage to Miss Dana Casebere. In 1912 he moved to Hamilton and for the last 18 years he has spent his winters in Florida and his summers in Hamilton. Last November his health began to fail and after eight months' sickness, which he bore very patiently, in spite of all efforts to prolong his life, he passed to the beyond August 7, 1934, at the age of 69 years, 4 months and 25 days. He leaves a wife and two brothers, Jasper and Albert, both of Hamilton, four nieces, four nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends to mourn their loss. The funeral services were held at the home in Hamilton on Thursday, Aug. 9, with Rev. Bourne and Rev. Turner officiating. Burial in the Teegardin cemetery.
