Zigler, 89, of Jefferson Square Manor died there today, June 22, at 4:30 a.m. He was born May 22, 1892, in Davis County to Fred and Mary Gordon Zigler. He was a retired carpenter who had lived in Ottumwa since 1957. He was a member of Modern Woodmen of America and Carpenters Union 767. He married Ora Williams on June 7, 1919. She died in 1956. Zigler, 89, of Jefferson Square Manor died there today, June 22, at 4:30 a.m. He was born May 22, 1892, in Davis County to Fred and Mary Gordon Zigler. Survivors: a son, Leo E. of North Liberty; a daughter, Irene Bates of Richland, Wash.; and three grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Service: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at Johnson Funeral Chapel, the Rev. Charles Hamby of First Pentecostal Assembly of God officiating. Burial: IOOF Cemetery, Bloomfield. The casket will not be opened.
