Besore at the Christensen Funeral Home on Thursday, May 12 at 2 p. m. with Rev. Merle Benson of Anthon officiating. Burial was in the Ida Grove cemetery. Pall bearers were, Arthur Hummelgard, Myron Anderson, Ross McVinua, Bill McNamara, Walter Vaughn and Fred Holcomb. Walter F. Besore, 4th son of Carl and Margaret Besore was born February 29, 1904 in Ida Grove. All of his early life was spent in the vicinity with the exception of a few years with his parents near El Centro, Calif. After the death of his father, the family returned to Ida Grove. He spent most of the time working on farms in Ida county. He was married to Josephine Lawson on December 19, 1930. They made their home on a farm in Corwin township. In 1946 they moved to Woodbury county where they purchased a farm near Anthon. They made their home there until his death. Surviving are his widow, Josephine, a son and daughter-in-law, James and Yvonne of Sioux City; one brother Jacob of Denver, and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Ralph in 1948 and a brother in infancy.
