WILSON Walter Harkness Wilson was born in Leadville (sic), Scotland, July 4, 1853, and died February 17, 1922, in Chester, Neb., at the home of his brother, James Wilson, having reached the age of 68 years, 7 months and 13 days. WILSON Walter Harkness Wilson was born in Leadville (sic), Scotland, July 4, 1853, and died February 17, 1922, in Chester, Neb., at the home of his brother, James Wilson, having reached the age of 68 years, 7 months and 13 days. In 1853, when only 9 weeks old, his parents left Scotland for Canada, and at the age of ten years moved with his parents to Quincy Mine, Mich., living there until 1887 when the family moved to the Wilson farm northeast of Hebron. He was married September 6, 1890, to Miss Sarah M. Keever. To this union was born one child, Robert Keever Wilson. On account of his health Mr. Wilson moved to Davidson, Canada in 1905. Five years ago his wife died and since then he has spent his winters at the home of his brother James and his summers with his son in Canada. When but a lad of 17 Mr. Wilson joined the Congregational church, and later, while living near Hebron he transferred his membership to the Presbyterian faith. At the time of his death he was a member of the Presbyterian church at Davidson, Canada. Funeral Services were held Monday afternoon from the Methodist church at Chester, in charge of the Masonic order. Rev. Mr. Burns had the funeral sermon.
