Description	:	SUDDEN DEATH OF HARRY BELTZ Walter Harrison Beltz was born at Argentine, Kansas, November 9, 1889, and died at his home at Valley Falls, January 21, 1919, aged 29 years, 2 months and 12 days. Death was due to hemorrhage of the left lung from an attack of influenza and bronchial pneumonia. He was only confined to his room three days. DeSoto was the home of the family for a number of years, Harry being the youngest. When he was but 18 he united in marriage to Rosa Greathouse at Olathe, Kansas, April 11, 1906, shortly after which they moved to Valley Falls wnd which they have since called their home. For a year or so he was solicitor for the Metropolitan Insurance Co. At Topeka and was coming back here to work for Lou Hauck when he was taken sick. He is survived by his wife, who is also seriously ill with the "flu" and his aged parents, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Beltz of Fort Dodge, Kansas, two brothers, Warren of Potter and Ernest of Newton, Kansas, who attended the funeral; and two sisters, Mrs. Neva Morgan of Pueblo, Colo., and Mrs. May Ohlert of Woodward, Okla. Harry was a member of the I.O.O.F. and the W.O.W. lodges at Valley Falls and carried insurance in the Eagles and the Metropolitan. His sudden death was a severe shock to his relatives and friends. Vigorous of mind and body his passing was unexpected. The funeral service, conducted by Rev. C. H. Kimball was held from the Schuler undertaking parlors, Thursday afternoon, the Odd Fellows having charge of the services at the grave in the Farrar cemetery.
