Walt passed away Friday, January 11, 2013 at Antelope Memorial Hospital in Neligh, NE. Walt attended Ewing (NE.) High School and graduating with the Class of 1942. On October 1945, he married Evelyn Sanne. Evelyn passed away in November 1949. On March 3, 1956, he was united into marriage to Charlene Twiss Mummert at Concordia Lutheran Church. In 1998 they move to Clearwater, NE. Walt liked gardening, yard work, fishing, and eating. He was a member of Concordia Lutheran Church. Walt is survived by: wife, Charlene Lange. Children: Elaine Vraspir of Neligh, NE, Cressel Mummert of Kalispell, MT, Russel Mummert of Clarinda, IA, Conda James of Columbus, NE. 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Brother, Henry Lange of Grandview, MO. Sister, Elsie and husband Glenn Wolfe of Clearwater, NE. Preceded in death by: parents, first wife Evelyn Lange, brother Roger Lange and son LeRoy Lange. Burial was in the Clearwater Cemetery, Clearwater, NE.
