Description	:	Walter Max Tucker was born on the 12 of January of 1933 at Berwyn in Custer County, Nebraska to Albert Henry and Margie Rose (Arthur) Tucker. He lived at Tryon in the Sandhills of Western Nebraska until he was 6 years old, and then moved to Broken Bow and Rose for a few years. In about 1940 the family moved to Alliance in Box Butte County, Nebraska, and to Scotts Bluff County in about 1942. Read More	Walter Max Tucker was born on the 12 of January of 1933 at Berwyn in Custer County, Nebraska to Albert Henry and Margie Rose (Arthur) Tucker. He lived at Tryon in the Sandhills of Western Nebraska until he was 6 years old, and then moved to Broken Bow and Rose for a few years. In about 1940 the family moved to Alliance in Box Butte County, Nebraska, and to Scotts Bluff County in about 1942. Walt was married to Carole Ann Jensen on June 26 of 1955 in Scottsbluff, where they lived the rest of their lives, except for Walt's 4 years in the US Navy, aboard the USS Cascade, and 2 years in Goodland, Kansas between 1971-1973. They had 4 daughters, Marsha, Barbara, Tamara and Carol Lynne. Walt worked for 15 years for Great Western Sugar Company, and then the remainder of his working years at Nebraska Public Power District. He retired because of his health in 1993. Walt spent many winters fishing for big trout on Nine Mile Creek, east of Scottsbluff. Walt died on the 2 of February of 2005 at Scottsbluff. Walt is buried in West Lawn Cemetery, at Gering, Nebraska.
