Description	:	Services for Walter O. Dunker, 85, of Stratford[SD], will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at the Huebl Funeral Chapel with the Rev. N. Richard Wickert officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery, in West Rondell Township, near Stratford. Mr. Dunker died Tuesday, Feb. 20, at Stratford. Visitation will be Thursday afternoon and until the time of the service Saturday at the funeral chapel. Relatives will meet at the chapel at 9:30 a.m. Saturday. Walter Otto Dunker was born July 13, 1893, in the Warner area. He attended school in Rondell Township. He married Alice Schumacher July 16, 1913, at Warner. They lived and farmed in that area until 1941 when they moved to Stratford. Mr. Dunker was a parttime carpenter until 1960 and retired in '965. Mrs. Dunker died Dec. 26, 1971. He continued to live in Stratford. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Ray (Esther) Dayton, of Stratford; and four grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, one brother and one sister.
