Mr. Doyle was born in Aynor, a son of the late Clarence Edgar and Evelyn Perritt Doyle. He attended Clemson University and was in the National Guard. Doyle, Sr., age 75, of Berry Tree Lane, passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2018. Mr. Doyle was born in Aynor, a son of the late Clarence Edgar and Evelyn Perritt Doyle. He attended Clemson University and was in the National Guard. Mr. Doyle was a member of the Myrtle Beach Masonic Lodge # 353 AFM, the MLC Shrine Club, the Omar Temple in Charleston and the Royal Order of Jesters. He was owner and operator of the Chuck Wagon Restaurant and the Coffee Pot in Myrtle Beach and Seafood Shak in Conway. Mr. Doyle was a devoted husband, father and grandfather. He was a man of few words, but the one's he spoke taught us lessons. He had a gracious heart and touched the lives of many. Mr. Doyle was predeceased by a granddaughter, Jessica Smith and a sister, Pauline Osborne. Surviving are his wife of 50 years, Connie James Doyle, one son, Walter P. Doyle, Jr. (Dana) of Myrtle Beach, three daughters, Wendy D. Smith (John Wendell) and Kerry D. Brode (Brodie), both of Myrtle Beach and Ashley Alderman (Mike) of Dublin, VA, four grandchildren, Caroline Doyle, Anna Doyle, Collier Alderman and Tanner Smith, and one brother, Clarence E. Doyle, Jr. (Rita) of Myrtle Beach. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Friday at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Ken Herrington officiating. Burial with Masonic Rites will follow in the church cemetery directed by Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel. Published in The Sun News on Aug. 29, 2018
