In 1918 he first married Mabel Malvina Allen In 1920, he is listed as Walter Raymond, single, aged 25, chauffeur for a private family by occupation. On October 19, 1929, he got remarried aged 36, widowed, with his second spouse, called Frances E. Deveau, daughter of John Constant Deveau and Mary Henoff, aged 34, born about 1895, in Lexington, Massachusetts, divorced from her FIRST husband, Oscar Blaine Pevear. His second wife died before he is counted in 1930, in a further census for the said town, as Walter Raymond, aged 36, widowed, mail-carrier by occupation, living as a boarder with his in-law-family. In 1942, as to the draft registration card for him, he was working as a chauffeur for a lumber business, later known as 'Lumber B. Nauss and Sons'. He died at 86 years of age and was buried at the same cemetery his father was, either. His siblings were: Alfred Frederick and Helen Gertrude.
