Born in Tipton County Sept. 23, 1886, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ross. He came to Anderson in 1923 and retired in 1954 from Delco-Remy Division. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Civil Defense Police here. Born in Tipton County Sept. 23, 1886, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Ross. He came to Anderson in 1923 and retired in 1954 from Delco-Remy Division. He was a member of the First Methodist Church and the Civil Defense Police here. Survivors include the widow, Ethel; Four Daughters, Mrs. Thelma Click of Los Angeles; Mrs. Roberta Krieg, Mrs. Eileen Holliday, and Mrs. Ellen Marshall of Anderson; two stepsons, Harold Ault of Anderson and Burnell Ault of Fort Wayne; two step-daughters, Mrs. Marguerite Barngrover and Mrs. Helen Maynard of Kokomo; Five grandchildren and several step-grandchildren; a brother, Frank Ross of Rossville; a sister, Mrs. Nellie Peasley of Muncie, and several nieces and nephews. The body was taken to the Baker Brothers Funeral Home, where friends may call after 4 p.m. Saturday and where services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Robert Fribley, minister of the First Methodist Church. Burial will be at Brookside Cemetery, Windfall.
