Wanda was born Oct 26th in Tabor, Iowa 1928, married Howard Collins and for many years resided in Sidney, Iowa. Many of you would remember her as the owner of Sidney Floral, creating floral arrangements for weddings and special events. She and husband Howard enjoyed school events, community service, participating in the Sidney Rodeo and Wanda was a 50 year Eastern Star member. Wanda was born Oct 26th in Tabor, Iowa 1928, married Howard Collins and for many years resided in Sidney, Iowa. Many of you would remember her as the owner of Sidney Floral, creating floral arrangements for weddings and special events. She and husband Howard enjoyed school events, community service, participating in the Sidney Rodeo and Wanda was a 50 year Eastern Star member. Upon retirement, she and Howard moved to Hilltop Lakes, Texas where they became “First Responders” for their community, golfed and socialized over cards with friends. In senior years, they moved to Gig Harbor, WA to rally with family. There, she gave her service to the local food bank. Wanda is preceded in death by her parents Fred and Bertha Briley. Wanda is survived by her daughters and their families: Gayla Heggen and husband Mark of Meridian, ID. Grandsons: Nate Higgins (wife Gretchen and great granddaughter Jazmyn of Sacramento, CA) and Sean Higgins, (wife Monica, great grandson Jaden and great granddaughter Mia of Aliso Viejo, CA) Paula Constance of Gig Harbor, WA. Grandson Ben Constance (wife Agatha, great grandsons Jackson and Landon of Gig Harbor, WA) and Kate Burke (husband Josh of Seattle, WA) She will be remembered by her love of nature, enthusiastic spirit and genuine desire to help others!
