Porter, who died in 1972 after 18 years of marriage. Born Aug. 14, 1931, in Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late George Clayton and Susie McCauley Anderson. She was a retired assistant to the executive director of the B&O Railroad YMCA, where she was employed for over 20 years. Read More	Mrs. WANDA MARTINA PORTER, 70, of Martinsburg, W.Va., died Saturday, June 22, at Washington County Hospital, Hagerstown. She was the wife of the late Claude H. Porter, who died in 1972 after 18 years of marriage. Born Aug. 14, 1931, in Brunswick, she was the daughter of the late George Clayton and Susie McCauley Anderson. She was a retired assistant to the executive director of the B&O Railroad YMCA, where she was employed for over 20 years. She was past president of the Brunswick Voluntary Ambulance Auxiliary, past president of Big Sisters of Bethany Lutheran Church of Brunswick, and past president of Lutheran Church Women of Bethany. She also was a member of the Eagles Auxiliary and was a charter member of the Brunswick Ambulance Auxiliary. She is survived by one son, James H. Porter II of Martinsburg; one sister, Pat Lolita Reynard of Hyattsville; one brother, John C. Anderson of Texas; two stepsons, Claude Bruce Porter of Frederick, and Gary N. Porter of Harrisburg, Pa.; six stepgrandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by one sister, Jean E. Poland; and three brothers, Harry Lee, Joseph and Charles M. Anderson. A memorial service was held at Bethany Lutheran Church, Brunswick; interment was in Park Heights Cemetery, Brunswick.
