Hazel was born August 12, 1926, the daughter of Arthur McNamara and Verna (Guignon) McNamara. She married Donald Foster August 9, 1947. He preceded her in death in 1993. She was a housewife and stay at home mom for many years and made being a wife, mother and grandma look so easy. In 1970 she began working at Petersen Harned Von Maur department store in Clinton where she was manager for many years. Reading was her passion but she also loved to roller skate, bowl, and line dance. She did volunteer work for many organizations throughout the years and was an avid fan of the Clinton Lumberkings, sitting through many late night doubleheaders with her sister, Donna and friends. Not many could resist her twinkly eyes and sweet smile and she was best described by all as such a sweetheart. She was preceded in death by her husband, granddaughter Amanda Holloman, one brother and three sisters.
