Description	:	Wanietta "Babs" Lundin, 79, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, Jan. 31,2014, at Canyon Creek Memory Care, where she resided since 2011. Babs was born on April 10, 1934, to Eugene and Rose "Volesky" Redmond of Irish decent in Dickinson, N. D. Babs had many fond memories of being raised on a farm north of Belfield with her one sister and six brothers. Read More	Wanietta "Babs" Lundin, 79, went to be with her Heavenly Father on Friday, Jan. 31,2014, at Canyon Creek Memory Care, where she resided since 2011. Babs was born on April 10, 1934, to Eugene and Rose "Volesky" Redmond of Irish decent in Dickinson, N. D. Babs had many fond memories of being raised on a farm north of Belfield with her one sister and six brothers. She graduated from Belfield high school and married her soul mate Mainard Fugere at the age of 18. To this union they had two children, a son Kelly and a daughter Diane. In 1954, they moved to Billings where Mainard was a carpenter and Babs was a homemaker. After a short illness, Mainard passed away in May of 1960 and she and her two children returned to Belfield. In 1962, they returned to Billings and Babs met and married her second husband, Joe Lundin. While raising her family she enjoyed fishing and camping with them and riding her Bridgestone motorcycle. She was a great mentor and listener to many. She truly loved her granddaughters and spent many precious moments with them teaching them crafts, laughing and playing her piano. Babs spent many years as a volunteer in the ICU at St. Vincent's Hospital and was loved by one and all. Until her illness, Babs was an active member of St. Pius Catholic Church and enjoyed her time with friends. She passed her love of music to her son and grand daughters. She is survived by her son, Kelly (Marilyn) Fugere of Billings; granddaughters, Terryn (Josh) Martin of Bozeman, Mont., Nicolle (Tyler) Warne of Missoula, Mont.; step grandchildren, Kathy (Ben) Holt of Moraga, Calif., and Shaun (Jessica) Moore, of Helena, Mont.; along with eight step great-grandchildren. She is further survived by her five brothers, Jerry (Rose) Redmond, Pat (Bev) Redmond, Tom (Jeannie) Redmond, Connie (Glenda) Redmond of Belfield, N.D., Bill (Joann) Redmond of Bismarck, N.D.; sister in-law Corrine Redmond of Tioga, N.D.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Babs was preceded in death by her parents; first husband Mainard Fugere; daughter, Diane Marie Fugere; brother, Jack Redmond; and sister, Mag Schwartz. The family expresses sincere appreciation for the friendship, thoughtfulness and care given to Babs and all of us by the staff at Canyon Creek Memory Care. In Lieu of flowers, memorials can be directed to Canyon Creek Memory Care - 1785 Majestic Lane - Billings, MT 59102, St. Pius X Church -717 18th St. W. - Billings, MT 59102, Alzheimer's Foundation, or to a charity of one's choice. The Rosary will be said 7 p.m. Wednesday, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary and the Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Thursday, at St. Pius X Church with Rite of Committal at Holy Cross Cemetery.
