Description	:	Ward Eastburn, 95, of Karrington Cottages of Waterloo, formerly of Sigourney, died on April 27, 1999 at Karrington Cottages in Waterloo. He was born on June 22, 1903 near Sigourney, to Oscar and Laura Jane McNabb Eastburn. He graduated from Delta High School and Iowa Wesleyan College in Mount Pleasant. He married Anna Marie Michel on Aug. 10, 1938, in Lancaster, Mo. She died on March 17, 1991. He taught school for a few years and farmed west of Sigourney all his life, until retiring to Sigourney in 1977. He had resided at Karrington Cottages in Waterloo for the past year.... He was preceded in death by his wife; two brothers Donald and Roe Eastburn and four sisters, Hildred Morgan, Millie Horras, Merle Schultz and Dorothy Eastburn.
