He was born on September 1, 1900 in Pleasant Township Clark County, Ohio and grew to manhood. Mr Page graduated in 1922 from Ohio Northern University with a BS in Civil Engineering. He was born on September 1, 1900 in Pleasant Township Clark County, Ohio and grew to manhood. Mr Page graduated in 1922 from Ohio Northern University with a BS in Civil Engineering. He was a WWI Veteran and worked for the Corps of Engineers, Army Post Engineer and the Navy Bureau of Yards and Docks within the federal government from 1935 to 1965, until his retirement. Some of his past accomplishments included serving on the Executive Board which chartered the Hampton Roads Federal Credit Union; serving as a past adjutant and post commander of the federal service post (NU)549, American Legion in Pennsylvania; and past president of local (NU)66 National Federation of Federal Employees. For more than 72 years he was a member of the Harmony Lodge (NU)8, F&AM, Urbana, Ohio and earned 32d degree Scottish Rite of Valley of Pittsburgh. Page was a former member of Syria and Kena Shrine Temples of Pittsburgh and Alexandria, respectively, and an active member of the Khedive Shire Temple in Virginia Beach. Page was also active in a wide variety of local, state and national organizations. However, his passion for music allowed him to sing with the Kena Temple Chanters, serving three years as secretary and ten years as treasurer of Khedive Temple Chanters. He was a life member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees (NARFE), member of the Clark County, Champaign County, and Virginia Beach genealogical societies, and first families of Clark County, Ohio. He was a member of Blacksburg Christian Church, Disciples of Christ, in Blacksburg, Va. He is survived by his two sons, Willard H Page of Green Valley, Ariz and Wayne J Page, Sr and his wife Kathryn of Poquoson; four grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
