Mr. Williams was born in Highland Center February 6, 1913, the son of Dr. James F. Williams and Grace Williams. He was graduated from Hedrick high school in 1930. Until his marriage on May 8, 1936, to Arlene Greenup, he lived in Highland Center. Since his marriage he had lived in Ottumwa. Read More	Obituary From "Ottumwa Courier," October 18, 1938: Warren (Doc) Williams, 25, of 1037 East Main street, who died Monday at 5:20 p.m. in the Ottumwa hospital. Mr. Williams was born in Highland Center February 6, 1913, the son of Dr. James F. Williams and Grace Williams. He was graduated from Hedrick high school in 1930. Until his marriage on May 8, 1936, to Arlene Greenup, he lived in Highland Center. Since his marriage he had lived in Ottumwa. He was a pitcher on the W.O.W. baseball nine, which this year won the city and southeastern Iowa championship, and was active in the Morrell bowling league. Surviving are his wife; his mother, Mrs. Grace Williams of Highland Center; a sister, Mrs. Frank Wolfe of Highland Center; and a brother, Chester Williams, Highland Center. His father preceded him in death in 1937. Services for Mr. Williams will be in the home, 1037 East Main street, Wednesday at 3:30 p.m. and at 4 p.m. in the East End Presbyterian church, conducted by the Rev. W.J. Creswell. Burial will be in the McCormick cemetery. Pallbearers will be Forrest Wolfe, Wendell Carr, Carl Dean, William Torrence, Walter Doak and Wallace Hill. The body is at Johnson's funeral chapel. It will be taken to the home at 5:30 p.m. today.
